Milwaukee’s 3494-23R M12 three-tool combo kit has returned at a reported $199 holiday promotional price, according to ToolGuyd. A two-tool kit is also back for $149; the main difference is the three-tool set’s brushed 3/8-inch ratchet.
Milwaukee’s M12 3494-23R three-tool combo kit is back at a reported $199 promotional price for the 2026 holiday shopping season, according to ToolGuyd. The set adds a brushed 3/8-inch ratchet to a compact drill-and-impact-driver bundle, while a two-tool version is also reportedly available for $149.
ToolGuyd says the three-tool kit includes Milwaukee’s compact brushless M12 drill and compact brushless impact driver, along with an older brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet. The package also includes two 2Ah batteries, a charger and a tool bag. The report lists the promotional price as $199, but does not identify a retailer or provide a direct product listing in the supplied material.
The accompanying two-tool combo is listed at $149. That version offers the drill and impact driver, according to ToolGuyd, without the ratchet. The $50 difference is the key purchasing choice: buyers who want a cordless ratchet can add one as part of the larger kit, while those who do not expect to use one can pay less for the two-tool set.
ToolGuyd describes the ratchet as an older brushed model, rather than one of Milwaukee’s newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets. The report says the newer models offer more power or features, while the included brushed version is less expensive. These are the publication’s product assessments; the source does not provide independent performance testing or detailed specifications for comparing the tools.
The Ratchet Sets the Value
The offer matters mainly because it puts a cordless ratchet into a $199 bundle, rather than asking buyers to purchase one separately. ToolGuyd argues that the $50 gap between the two kits makes the ratchet a comparatively low-cost addition for someone who expects to use it. That assessment depends on the buyer’s needs: a tool that stays unused does not add practical value simply because it is discounted in a bundle.
For shoppers comparing the two packages, the tool type and price difference are clearer than any claim of universal savings. The three-tool set includes a brushed ratchet, not a newer Fuel brushless model, and the source does not provide a price history or retailer-by-retailer comparison. Readers should treat $199 and $149 as the reported promotional prices and check current availability and terms before buying.

Two M12 Kits, One Choice
The promotion centers on Milwaukee’s M12 compact-tool platform and its drill-and-impact-driver combination. ToolGuyd describes both included power tools as compact brushless models and says it prefers their ergonomics to the M12 Fuel versions, while acknowledging they are less powerful. That is the publication’s opinion, not a measured comparison supplied with the report.
ToolGuyd characterizes the return as part of the 2026 holiday shopping season and says similar promotional combo kits are likely to appear during the season. The report does not give exact start or end dates, identify the seller, or say whether the deal is available in stores, online, or both. Its author also discloses that ToolGuyd may earn an affiliate commission when readers buy through its links.

Retailer and Deal Dates Unspecified
The supplied report does not name the retailer, sale end date or inventory status, and it does not establish whether the listed prices are available nationwide. The actual checkout price, shipping costs, taxes and any purchase limits are also not specified. Because the source says it may receive affiliate commission, readers should verify the listing and terms directly with the seller.
It is also unclear how long the promotion will run or whether the kits will remain available through the holiday season. ToolGuyd says deals of this kind do not usually sell out quickly, but that is the publication’s expectation rather than a confirmed stock guarantee. No separate manufacturer statement is included in the supplied material.
Check Current Listings Before Buying
Shoppers interested in either kit should check a current retailer listing to confirm price, included components and availability. In particular, buyers should verify that the product number is 3494-23R and that the package contains the brushed 3/8-inch ratchet, two 2Ah batteries, charger and tool bag described in the report.
ToolGuyd expects more promotional combo-kit offers during the holiday season, but does not provide dates for additional deals. The next practical update will be whether participating retailers continue to list the two kits at the reported prices and how long stock lasts.
